About - My Story

About the System Resistance League

This isn’t about one issue. It’s about all of them.
Because when the systems are broken, everything they touch is too.

Why I Started This

My name is David. I’m not a politician. I’m not a traditional “activist.” But I am someone who still honors an oath I took back in 1981 when I joined the United States Air Force:

"I solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic..."

That oath doesn’t expire just because your term of service does. And in today’s America, I see the very heart of that Constitution—freedom, equality, dignity—being dismantled piece by piece by entrenched systems of control. Not just by corrupt individuals, but by the structures that elevate and protect them.

I couldn’t stand by and do nothing.

What This Is

The System Resistance League is not a single cause or campaign.
It’s a directory of resistance, a hub for disruption, and a home for the disillusioned—those who know the game is rigged and are ready to stop playing by its rules.

We spotlight broken systems—political, economic, social, and cultural—and the people working to challenge them. We offer tools, gear, stories, and solidarity to help resisters not just speak out, but link up.

Where I’m Coming From

I’ve spent years pushing back against one of the deepest forms of control: body shame. My work in body acceptance was never just about accepting our unclothed bodies just as they are or personal freedom—it is about confronting the industries and beliefs that profit from making people feel broken. I have a website on this issue at RDRSinitiative.com

But body shame is just one head of a much larger hydra. Systemic inequality. Economic injustice. Political manipulation. Institutionalized fear.

If we want to reclaim our dignity, we have to challenge it all.

Why I Speak Up

I’m a white male in America. I didn’t create the systems that unfairly advantage me—but I’ve benefited from them, and I won’t pretend otherwise. Silence is complicity.

I can’t undo the privilege I was born into, but I can use it—to amplify others, to name what needs to be named, and to stand up where I’m supposed to sit down.

Who This Is For

If you’ve ever looked at the world and felt that something is fundamentally wrong—
If you’ve ever felt like shouting, but didn’t know where to start—
If you’re tired of false choices and easy distractions—
Then welcome. You’re already part of the League.

We don’t need capes. We need courage.
We don’t need saviors. We need solidarity.
And we don’t need permission to speak truth. We already have the right.

Join the League

You don’t need to be loud. You just need to be ready.
Browse the directory. Share your story. Support others.
And when you're ready, stand up—and help build a better system than the one we inherited.
